Refund Policy

At ticketHUB ZM, we are committed to ensuring that your ticket purchasing experience is seamless and stress-free. We understand that plans can change, and this policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted. By purchasing a ticket through our platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Terms
Original Purchaser Only: Refunds can only be requested by the original purchaser of the ticket.
Refund Method: All approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method used.
Processing Fee: A flat ZMW 2.00 processing fee applies to all successful refund requests.
System Error Exception: If a refund is necessitated by a system error or technical issue caused by ticketHUB ZM (e.g., duplicate charges or ticketing glitches), the processing fee will be waived.
2. Refunds for Cancelled Events
If an event is cancelled by the organizer:
Full Refund: You are entitled to a full refund, less the ZMW 2.00 processing fee (unless waived as noted above).
Notification: You will be informed via email or through your ticketHUB ZM account.
Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 10 to 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
3. Refunds for Postponed or Rescheduled Events
If an event is postponed or rescheduled:
You may choose to attend the event on the new date or request a refund.
Refund Request Deadline: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 business days after the announcement of the new date.
Processing Fee: A ZMW 2.00 processing fee applies.
Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 10 to 14 business days following approval.
4. Refunds for Other Circumstances
Refund requests outside of cancellations or postponements may be considered under the following:
Incorrect Ticket Purchase: Refunds may be requested within 24 hours of purchase, provided valid proof is submitted.
Duplicate Purchases: If you accidentally purchased multiple identical tickets, you must request a refund within 24 hours.
Note: All such refunds are subject to the ZMW 2.00 processing fee unless due to a system error.
5. Non-Refundable Tickets
Tickets marked as “Non-Refundable” or “Final Sale” are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.
Third-Party Fees: Charges levied by third parties (e.g., payment processors) are non-refundable.
No-shows: Tickets for users who do not attend the event are non-refundable, even if the event is held as scheduled.
6. Undelivered or Inaccessible Tickets
If you do not receive your ticket or are unable to access it due to a technical error:
Contact us within 48 hours of the issue.
After verification, we will either resend the ticket or initiate a refund based on the situation.
The ZMW 2.00 processing fee will not apply if the issue originated from our platform.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
Log into your ticketHUB ZM account.
Navigate to the “My Tickets” section and select the relevant ticket.
Use the contact form on the event page to message the event organizer directly.
Include your Ticket Number, full name, email address, and the reason for your refund request.
The event organizer is expected to respond within 5 business days. If no response is received or you need assistance, our support team will step in to facilitate communication.
8. Exceptions and Limitations
Event Organizer Authority: Refund eligibility is subject to the terms and policies set by the event organizer. ticketHUB ZM acts as a facilitator and may process refunds on the organizer’s behalf but does not determine event-specific refund conditions.
Dispute Resolution: If your refund request is denied by the organizer, you may escalate the issue to our support team at [email protected] for further review.
Force Majeure: ticketHUB ZM is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
9. Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under the laws of the Republic of Zambia, including but not limited to rights granted under the Consumer Protection Act and related regulations.
